What I've Learnt

Welcome to my world where I and other like minds believe that passing on the torch of knowledge and expertise is a MUST! Having done a few things in my time I consider myself to be a lifelong learner, which is why I didn’t hesitate in 2012 to embark on a learning journey into the world of leather crafting. Nothing moves me like skilfully crafted leather footwear and handbags

My learning journey meant I could cross over from being a purveyor of high-quality well-made leather accessories into a maker. I love the feel and smell of leather and at my design studio in London, I am surrounded by different types, shapes, sizes, and colours of leather causing my imagination to run wild and free...

Several of the people I meet when I am out and about showing or just wearing my work at functions and events are curious about the how and what it took for me to get started and do what I do. They intimate that they have a curiosity similar to mine about bags and footwear… (and yes, they have watched loads of YouTube videos).

For many it’s clear they don’t want to go the whole hog and set up a bag or shoe business, but for some that is their interest. I was always asked if I teach or would share what I know, initially I was not in a position to do so, but now I am.

If you would like to explore your curiosity and learning in more depth and have fun trying something different in the process, my courses will appeal to you. Why not sign up for one of my ‘What I’ve Learnt’ courses , only one of two things could possibly happen… you’ll either come away having satisfied your curiosity and be done with some new skills and knowledge under your belt or you might just be starting something…
Whichever it is, you’ll be glad you came!
